Public invitation to Healthwatch Advisory Board’s (HAB) Meeting

The Healthwatch Staffordshire’s, Healthwatch Advisory Board will take place on Wednesday 5th June 10.30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Newcastle-under-Lyme Fire Station, Knutton Lane, Newcastle under Lyme, ST5 2SL.

The event forms part of the regular meetings across the county and is also a chance to share experiences of health and social care services, hear about current projects and find out how to get involved.

This month’s themes are; Community hospitals – next steps and timelines, Local response to NHS Long Term plan and the new GP contracts. Our speaker for the meeting is Mark Seaton – Managing Direction of Staffordshire CCG’s.

Maggie Matthews, chair of Healthwatch Advisory Board, said: “We act as the independent voice of local people to improve health and social care services in this area and influence what services will look like in the future. Our agenda is shaped by residents themselves, hence why we are inviting them to our public meeting, to have their say and make their voices count”
