4 Work programme Project Updates

 

Deep dives 24/25:

 

–        Avoidance Admission report –confirmed published and sent to committee. Feedback from the committee; JT – Brilliant work, amazing to see how it should all work and you can see the effort the team have inputted. DB – Good praise for report and the content – some small typos. DB to send email to AM with amendments.

 

Committee agreed to be part of checking reports prior to publishing to support the team. AM to feedback to team.

 

 

–        Hospital Discharge – final draft completed today. AM has sent to ICB/NHS contacts for feedback/corrections – AM to send out to committee.

AM requested this remain confidential until published.

 

Deep dives 2025/2026:

 

–        AM provided update on areas investigated for the 3 focal decisions and shared further information/data found supporting each area.

–        AM shared further areas of work being undertaken alongside focal deep dives:

·       GP access cards with public health

·       ReSPECT Plans with mpft

·       Connections made with Keele around involving students.

·       Intelligence sharing with colleagues.

5 Intelligence/Feedback update – Public issues

 

All mentioned by committee:

–        Pharmaceutical – Patients having issues with medications and stock at pharmacies.

–        ADHD/Autism – assessments being done private and NHS not accepting private assessments not completed using NICE guidelines.

–        Children – ADHA/Autism impacting families, ECHPs and support.

–        Men’s health – access to PSA testing – is this a GP service

–        Cuts ICB & NHS – impact that will be ongoing including devolution.
