Spring Vaccination Programme comes to a close
The Spring COVID-19 vaccination campaign has come to a close.
As of 26th June, uptake across the following key cohorts for the spring programme is as below. Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent are performing higher than the National Average across all of these key cohorts:
- Care Home Resident Uptake – 79%
- 80+ Non-Immunosuppressed – 71.5%
- 75-79 Non-Immunosuppressed – 72.4%
- 12+ Immunosuppressed – 60.1%
Primary doses and first boosters will also no longer be available for most people from July 1st 2023.
As such, we will be stepping down the majority of our social media posts.
Summer community engagement programme
Our Targeted Vaccination Team will be getting out and about over the summer to engage local people at a series of community engagement events. People will have the opportunity to ask questions, raise queries and learn more about vaccination. We are currently building the schedule so if you know of a group or event that would benefit from having the team attend, please email tara.jackson@nhs.net
