Brereton – Social Groups for Wellbeing

We would like to promote some social groups for wellbeing that are open to residents of Brereton (near Rugeley).

There are three different groups: ‘Horse Therapy’; ‘Let’s Create Wellbeing’ and ‘Cooking Together’.

Each one is running twice this Autumn and each one lasts for 3 weeks – there is more information below along with links where you can book a place online.

Any queries or problems with the form then please contact Emily May using Breretoncan@gmail.com or 07719 072 485

Horse Therapy

Horse Therapy – Brereton Resident only, we have run this project before, for residents in Brereton. The residents will need to meet at the Brereton community Hub, where we will provide transport for them. We found this worked amazing for helping those who have been isolating ease back outside and for those residents that suffer with anxiety.  We start this project on the 19th October, 10am – 1pm. The course will run for three weeks, then run another 3-week course for new individuals. –

Let’s Create Wellbeing

‘Lets Create wellbeing’ is a 3 week programme for adults, to complete community art projects involving Art- therapy. Delivered to residents who may need support with mental health or a restart connecting with the world. All sessions will be in Brereton Community Hub, Armitage Rd, WS15 1DF. Residents must be able to commit to all 3 dates:

Cooking Together

Cooking Together – Free 3 – weekly cookery course for parent and child, Thursday evenings 4:30 – 6pm, Starting the 3rd November at the Brereton Hub.
