Enhanced NHS 111 update
Due to the increasing demand on our NHS since the start of the Coronavirus Pandemic University Hospitals North Midlands and University Hospitals Derby and Burton have introduced a new NHS 111 service which allows patients to be booked directly into slots at local emergency departments.
This enhanced NHS 111 service is aimed at reducing unnecessary attendance at Accident and Emergency Departments accross Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
