Join Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s Service User and Carer Virtual Celebration Week
Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, the provider of physical, mental health care, learning disabilities and adult social care, is recognising the significant contribution patients, service users, carers and volunteers make to the organisation through its annual Service User and Carer Involvement Celebration event from 5 – 9th October.
The event, which takes place every year is an opportunity for the Trust to celebrate and congratulate service users and carers for all that they do to support the organisation. Usually the event is held at the Trust’s Head Quarters at St George’s Hospital in Stafford. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic the trust have planned a special a virtual event which will be available online for anyone to join.
The theme of 2020’s Service User and Carer Virtual Celebration Week event will be ‘Celebrating the Impact of Involvement during Change’.
Celebrations will begin on Monday 5 October with a warm welcome from Chief Executive, Neil Carr followed by a series of pre-recorded videos to celebrate and showcase the Trust’s many different services. The videos will illustrate the benefits of involving service users and carers in health care services.
The weeklong event will also include stories about involvement showcasing research and innovation, inclusion services volunteers and SU representatives, and many more.
