Learn how to manage Atrial Fibrillation using Digital Aids and adopt a healthier lifestyle!
We want to help anyone and everyone who has been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (AF- having an irregular heart rate diagnosed as this health condition) or thinks they might have it, to learn more about what they can do to get it confirmed; or optimise their treatment and adopt healthy lifestyle habits. It’s more difficult in these COVID times for you to visit your GP’s surgery for a face to face review, as a much larger proportion of patient appointments are via phone, text or video consultation. So we’d like to help you learn more about your health condition and what you can do using digital aids to manage your AF better, in line with the treatment you have agreed with your practice nurse or GP.
So this webinar has been collated with experienced nurses & doctors who will endeavour to help you understand more AF, signpost you to trusted resources online, show you how to take your own pulse in a reliable way, use some great apps along the way and be prepared for different formats of consultation such as texting and video consultation.
Take a look at the flyer AF webinar flyer for more details- and do sign up to the eventbrite link at the bottom of the flyer for one of the two dates we are running this webinar by zoom. You’ll be able to ask questions in the chatbox of nurses Kevin & Ann and Dr Ruth, and they will take live questions at the end of the webinar too.
