#Wethe15 campaign
WeThe15 is a global movement, which was founded by a coalition of organisations from sport, human rights, policy, communications, business, arts and entertainment, uniting to change attitudes and create more opportunities for persons with disabilities, as well as improve mobility and accessibility.
We want to end discrimination and transform the lives of the world’s 1.2 billion persons with disabilities so they can be visible and active members of an inclusive society.
Light up purple
On 19 August, more than 125 iconic landmarks, spanning 30 countries and multiple time zones will light up purple, the international colour for disability to celebrate the Launch of WeThe15.
The global light up will be one of several activities to celebrate the launch of WeThe15, which aspires to be the biggest ever human rights movement to represent the world’s 1.2 billion persons with disabilities.
