waiting queue for 2 hours either they cut me off or put me on hold, the reception staff need to sort out the way they talk to patients because it's absolutely appalling and rude. They never have any appointments and the receptionist want to know the reason why you want an appointment before they decide if they have an appointment or not which should be confidential.
after hours and days of trying, you will not get an appointment. This is a lottery for healthcare and absolutely disgraceful you can't do something as simple as book an appointment further than the current week for very important health issues. I have chronic pain and a number of health issues, including mental health that continue to be ignored. They're failing people desperate for help and support.
5days and rang the surgery and when I eventually got through was told they were waiting for a Doctor to approve it but hopefully it would be done by the evening. Hopefully??....... not good enough when running out of medication! I rang again the next day and after another long wait was told much the same thing ! I rang my usual pharmacy but they said their hands
were tied as they couldn't get through to speak to a Doctor either. After a lot of anxiety and time I finally got my medication after a 7 day wait.
I don't think I am the only patient to dread having to contact the Doctor's surgery.
In all fairness to the reception staff they were very respectful to me and it seemed they were in an impossible position.
Regarding coronavirus vaccination.....my husband and myself were contacted by the surgery ,given a date for Pirelli stadium and received our vaccine 3 weeks ago...... which was brilliant! Thank you .
